The lake house feeling, made easy.
This private lakeside Anchorage studio is a rare find: a step-free, single-level stay with no stairs to enter and no steps once inside. The bathroom is also step-free, with a roll-in style shower area and grab bars for added support. It is compact, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for guests who want easy access without giving up the magic of staying by the lake. Inside, you’ll find everything you need in one simple space: a queen bed, sofa, TV, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a private bathroom with shower. It is perfect for guests who want a quieter, more manageable home base while still enjoying the setting and amenities of a larger lakefront property.
The best part is what is right outside. You are tucked into a Sand Lake property with shared lakefront access, including seasonal kayaks and SUPs when conditions allow. Make coffee, watch the water, enjoy a slow morning by the lake, or head out for a paddle on a calm summer day.

The downstairs studio is located on a lakefront property with an upstairs unit that may be occupied separately. You may see or hear other guests on the property, especially around shared outdoor areas.
Kayaks and SUPs are shared with the upstairs unit and are available seasonally. They must be used at guests’ own risk. Life jackets should be worn at all times, and children should always be supervised near the water.
Lake conditions change by season. Summer and winter use of the lake is always at the guest’s own risk.
This is a residential lakefront area, so quiet hours, parking rules, and respectful use of the property are important.
