Your family will be close to everything when you stay at the Polaris Suite. Named for the North Star on Alaska’s iconic flag, this spot is a warm retreat after days spent exploring Anchorage. Boots dry by the door, meals come together in a real kitchen, and evenings settle into mountain views and quiet comfort. Families and groups love the space, the calm neighborhood, and the easy access to everything Anchorage offers. Come home to a place that feels steady, welcoming, and unmistakably Alaska.
This second-level townhome is part of a duplex, but it is entirely private, with its own entrance and full living spaces.
Inside, the space feels like a deep breath after a day spent in Alaska’s wild places. Engineered wood floors run throughout the entire suite: no carpet anywhere! This creates a clean, modern feel that’s easy to settle into. The living room is thoughtfully designed with local Alaskan art, soft seating for eight, a flat-screen TV, and a gas fireplace that turns on with the flip of a switch, perfect for slow evenings and chilly nights. Natural light fills the space, and the mountains remain a constant presence just beyond the windows.
The dining table seats six comfortably, with an additional two bar stools at the kitchen, seating a total of eight including the island. In other words, everyone can gather easily for meals, games, or conversation.
The primary bedroom is its own retreat, featuring a king bed, ensuite bath, a second gas fireplace, and a private balcony with sweeping mountain views that catch the last of the evening light. It’s a favorite spot for morning coffee, fresh air, and quiet moments before the day begins. Two additional bedrooms each include a full-over-twin bunk, ideal for siblings, cousins, teammates, or anyone who enjoys sharing a room while still having a real mattress.
