Coho Cabana is located just a short 8 miles southeast of Homer, Alaska by water. It can be reached by boat; either your own rig or a scenic water taxi from the Homer boat harbor – about 30 minutes. Guests arriving by water taxi (we recommend Mako’s Water Taxi) will be delivered directly to our beach. Guests arriving in their own boat can tie off to our running line on the beach. Our home is protected by an electrified bear deterrent system, so please be sure to share with us your arrival details so we can prepare the house accordingly.
Tide dependent, there could be many steps as the house is on an elevated deck from the beach. The walk from the beach to the house requires physical fitness, especially if carrying items.
While I won't be available in person, I'm just a phone call away to help you troubleshoot (should anything go wrong).
